Sanction Poland for failing to return abducted children to the UK

What the petition asks
There is a UK-Poland child abduction crisis. The Government must respond decisively to Poland's failure to return abducted children to the UK. This should include withdrawing UK support - financial or otherwise - if they continue to fail to meet international obligations to return abducted children.
More than 200 families report child abduction from the UK every year according to official figures. Other cases go unreported. Abduction damages children's lives and can put left-behind families in an agonising state of living bereavement. Poland is a major destination for child abduction from the UK, not only due to the large Polish community, but also because the Polish authorities are failing to return abducted children to the UK.
