prevent the change of roads outside cities to 20mph
Rejected
15 signatures
What the petition asks
To stop the movement to change rural roads to 20 miles per hour or ones within 5 miles of cities.
Many issues will arise, from increased spearing tickets, more greenhouse gasses in our atmosphere and for a longer period of time due to the slower travel. If a decrease is to occur from the 60mph, a drastic development to 20mph is uncanny. As 40mph is said to be the best speed for emoting the lease amount of greenhouse gasses and using the least amount of fuel, due to the laws of physics that it is then moving at almost constant speed.
