Seek to rejoin the EU pet passport scheme

What the petition asks
The new system of having to go to the vet for an Animal Health Certificate every time I travel to the EU with my pet, and being charged up to £130, is not fit for purpose. The Government should negotiate a deal with the EU so we can rejoin the EU pet passport scheme.
The new scheme imposes additional costs on pet owners, which disproportionately affects pet owners on lower incomes more than the wealthy, especially during in this cost of living crisis.
Whilst the UK voted for Brexit our pets had no choice.
