Require all NHS bodies to be managed by medical staff

Particularly in light of recent tragic events, we believe there are too many cases where the concerns of medical staff have not been acted on appropriately by non-medical management staff.

The NHS should be run responsibly, but is a public service and should not be run like a business. We believe that having NHS bodies managed by medical staff will help prevent poor decision making, including concerns about patient health and safety not being acted on.
