What the petition asks
Declare unlawful or limit power to Welsh Senedd that wants to implement blanket 20mph limit.
This measure is going to impact residents' daily life, with a very high risk to be disqualified for fines under 25mph, fines are expensive and impact families' budgets, signs are not clear, speed cameras hidden everywhere, people have to look at the speed more than the road and it will slow down safety and health services too where it's not possible to overtake. We need better and more public transport options to leave the car at home rather than punishing everyone for having one.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Your petition is about something that the Welsh Government and Welsh Parliament is responsible for. That means that the UK Government and Parliament can't look into it.
