Stop schools from preventing students colouring their hair

What the petition asks
I would like the Government to put a stop to schools being allowed to write policies that prevent students from colouring/dyeing their hair to suit their preference.
Merit, character, work ethic, drive, and values should be the focus of the education system, and not appearance. Hairstyles do not affect the personal growth, rate of learning, or grades of students.
Having the option to dye/colour your hair allows you to express yourself and demonstrate individuality. This should be encouraged and championed. I can see no evidence to support the outdated idea that hair colour should be natural.
