Install fruit and vegetable washing facilities (washing fountains)

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

Make a new law whereby all local small and large buisnesses (excluding mobile stalls) have fruit washing fountains for citizens.
By installing this water fountain will promote and help citizens consume more fresh produce rather than going for chocolates and sweets options.

This will also remove discrimination to help those with difficulties to have more fresh food readily available, as most can't consume chocolate and sweets, which consititutes as discrimination.

This will also encourage more healthier food consumption, reduce sickness, reduce depression and reduce NHS costs.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly if you want businesses selling fruit to be required to have stations for washing these available, or all businesses.

We're also not sure what you mean when you say that most "people with difficulties" can't consume chocolate and sweets.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
