Require veterinary practices to offer customers payment plans

What the petition asks
Introduce legislation to require veterinary practices to offer customers payment plans, due to the ongoing cost of living crisis and the current state of the economy.
It is cruel to let animals die or abandon them because bills are unaffordable. Making payment plans available could help prevent this.
Since 2020 I have seen an unacceptable rise in the neglect of animals because many people cannot afford to pay the entirety of veterinary bills at once. This prevents animals from receiving adequate care.
