What the petition asks

Build a new main accident and emergency site. providing acute medical and surgical services including trauma, intensive care and cardio thoracic services to the ever increasing population of South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse.

A location along the A34 at the Milton Junction area will provide fast trauma transfer for the majority of South and Vales population, and unburden the JRH. This area is well placed with the A34, A4130 and A417 arterial roads. The distance and congestion to the JRH increases mortality. We are an ever expanding growth region and residents’ only option is to travel to the JRH.
