Licence owners of high powered dogs, don’t blame a dog or seek to ban the breed

What the petition asks

Owning a high powered dog is a responsibility and requires a long term duty of care both to the dog and to the community.

Owning a high powered motorcycle without the proper knowledge, training and commitment to responsibility is dangerous.
Motorcycles are not to blame and neither is the dog
Instead of banning any breed.
a licence should be required to ensure that high powered dog owners are identified, grouped, and trained to a minimum legal standard.

This will allow for better education, the formation of a community of responsible owners, and the reduction of fear and unknown around then topic for society.

Accountability for owners, not the dogs living under their care.
