Make noise nuisance a criminal offence so police can take action

What the petition asks
The Government should make noise nuisance after 10pm a criminal offence so that police can immediately respond to it. The police must warn them immediately, record their name and address, and there should be fines for repeat offences.
Offenders should also have to complete a community education scheme.
Noise nuisance can leave people including babies, elderly people and people who are unwell to suffer from anxiety and sleep deprivation. This can lead to people getting sick which can put more pressure on the NHS and Government welfare. Sleep deprivation can be very serious.
