What the petition asks
Pass a law that makes it a criminal offence to deliberately and knowingly mislead the Houses of Parliament.
With great power comes great responsibility.
With great power comes great responsibility.
The Houses of Parliament are where the statute that guides and binds our land and our people is crafted. All people with the power to create statute should also be bound by it.
Anyone and everyone found to have deliberately and knowingly misled Parliament should be held accountable for their actions in a court of law.
The Ministerial Code is clearly inadequate.
When people’s lives are put at risk, and servicemen and women are asked to pay the ultimate price in the service of their country, they should have the certainty that their lives are lighting the path of truth and justice.
Restore Honour and Righteousness to the “Right Honourable Members” and enforce it as an immovable foundation stone of our constitution.
