What the petition asks
Help children in Key Stage 2 identify what to do in a situation that may require CPR and how to perform it to aid in trying to save a life.
Everyone should know how to perform CPR, especially if it’ll help to save a life.
Children should be taught how to perform/assist with basic CPR.
It should be taught from a young age as soon as children understand and have the physical capacity to perform it.
Too many people don’t receive CPR due to a lack of knowledge and lack of confidence never having practiced it before and that needs to change!
The best time to learn is as a child and it can be practiced and retained for a lifetime.
