Opening in 1989 the stretch of road has been ranked the 10th most dangerous in the UK claiming the lives of many
There are the following issues
No central reservation
No HGV warning
No speed camera
No tourist attraction sign
No bend warning
No overhead lighting
Overtaking allowed
Implement a road safety plan, with common road safety measures to prevent collisions due to issues related to the above. Roll out schemes such as the VISION ZERO 2040 STRATEGY.
