Make relatives of those with a Private Life Visa eligible for family visas

What the petition asks
People granted a Private Life UK Visa have no right to bring over their relatives on family visas. Only those who are working, studying, British, European or with permanent residence can apply for their families to join them.
To be granted a Private Life Visa, you need to demonstrate 20 years of continuous residency in the UK. You then have to wait a further 10 years to be able to apply for indefinite leave to remain (permanent residency) at which point your relatives can apply for a UK Family Visa. We believe this is too long and anyone who holds a Private Life Visa should be allowed for their families to be eligible to apply to join them in the UK.
