Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
We want the government to remove the leader & Labour Party cabinet so we can re-elect genuine people who actually care for the people of Birmingham & who care for our beautiful city.
The time for change is now. Birmingham deserves leaders who are committed to the betterment of our city, who will restore its reputation and bring prosperity to its residents. We implore our government officials to heed our concerns and take the necessary steps to remove the council house leader and the entire Labour Party cabinet. Together, we can rebuild Birmingham and ensure a brighter future for all.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We can't accept petitions about appointments. That includes calling for local representatives to be removed from their job.
We also can't accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about the removal of council leaders and cabinet members are a matter for the panel of Birmingham City Council, not the UK Government or Parliament.
