Introduce social media requirements on promoting realistic beauty standards
Closed

What the petition asks
I want the Government to require social media companies to flag posts where filters are used, images edited or somebody has plastic surgery/extensive makeup. They should inform users that some content may not reflect real life, and take action regarding images promoting unhealthy standards.
Only the Government has the power to regulate social media platforms and I believe action is necessary as many teenagers are affected by unrealistic beauty standards.
