Remove the earnings limit for Carer's Allowance

What the petition asks
Unpaid carers save the government millions, and looking after a loved one can be a 24 hour 7 day a week role that can be emotionally and physically exhausting. We don't think it's fair for people to be prevented from receiving Carer's Allowance because of their earnings.
Eligibility for Carer's Allowance should not be affected by a person's earnings. Provided someone spends at least 35 hours a week caring for someone in receipt of a qualifying benefit they should be entitled to Carer's Allowance. Currently you cannot receive Carer's Allowance if you earn more than £139 a week.
