Reimburse All students thats took the Professional Policing course in University
Rejected
9 signatures
What the petition asks
The university/government should reimburse the students for this course by wiping the student debt paid for the course.
It is not adequate enough content wise to cost 9,500 a year and is inadequate in regard to what is needed to be taught for the police. There is also a fourth route into the police which means anyone that took the degree because they had to just to be in the force, went into debt for nothing. The course also does not guarantee a place in the police or a higher pay. It also does not qualify for being a detective.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
The UK Government and Parliament are not responsible for the courses universities choose to offer.
