Stop the proposed Conservative ban of Trans women from female NHS wards
Rejected
13 signatures
What the petition asks
We want Parliament/the Government to rethink their proposed plan which sees Trans women being banned from female NHS wards and being forced to get care in a ward which does align with their gender.
This ban is outdated and highly discriminatory towards Trans Women. The 2021 NHS guidance that said trans patients could be placed on single-sex wards on the basis of the gender with which they identified should be up held.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
