What the petition asks
Protect motorists from revenue based implementation of Sadiq Khan’s new road laws in London.
Greener and Safer roads do not have to mean revenue traps for the people that drive on them. We have demands that do not make any new law less safe or green, but support essential travel for business.

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We can’t accept petitions that request action at a local level.
We could accept a petition calling for restrictions to the powers of traffic authorities regarding local roads, and changes to penalties for certain road traffic offences, if that's what you want to happen.
