Security to Jewish schools by armed police presence or armed security guards
Rejected
17 signatures
What the petition asks
Budget for these to happen and have a clear criteria on who should be able to carry a weapon and who shouldn't.
We would like to have real debate on parliament on who should be entitled for additional protection.
Why it was rejected
The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.
Since you started your petition the Government has announced new support to keep British Jewish communities safe, including £3 million of extra funding will be provided to the Community Security Trust (CST) to protect schools, synagogues and other Jewish community buildings. The Government has said the money will enable the CST to place additional guards in schools it supports throughout each school’s operating hours.
