Reveal the total weekly cost of of the Bibby Stockholm barge
Rejected
15 signatures
What the petition asks
The government is refusing to reveal how much the Bibby Stockholm barge is costing the British taxpayer each week because they say it's "not in the public interest."
As the barge has had minimal occupation since it first docked and has generated a lot of negative publicity regarding its unsuitability, British taxpayers are entitled to know how much of their money is being spent on this potential white elephant.
Why it was rejected
It was a request for information, better suited to a Freedom of Information request.
You can find out how to make a freedom of information (FOI) request, and what you can do if you're not happy with an organisation's response to an FOI request, here: https://www.gov.uk/make-a-freedom-of-information-request
