Provide university students discounted TFL travel through a zip card.

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

I want the government to allow students discounted travel through a zip card. I’m 18, I’ve just started my undergraduate course at university. I have to travel from zone 4 to zone 1 everyday it costs me £4.40 a journey. £8.80 a day!!! I work part time and one day of travel is more than my hourly pay
Us students should be paying less compared to adults. Not all students take maintenance loans to cover their travel costs especially because of the high rates of interest with the loans. The cost of living is now high more than ever. In addition to that, no employer pays 18 year olds an equal and fair pay. Fix the TFL charging system for university students!
