Cap student bus ticket prices at £1 for those aged 21 and under

What the petition asks
During the current cost of living crisis, some bus companies are increasing the bus fares for students. The financial burden on the bus companies shouldn't be paid by children from families who are already under great economic pressure.
The government has already capped bus prices at £2 for a single ticket until NYE 2024. This bus fare cap is voluntary - not all bus companies are taking part. It doesn’t seem reasonable that children, who have less money than adults already, from families currently struggling with what could be the largest economic recession in over a century, are having to pay more.
