Seek international framework recognising the state of Palestine
Closed
511 signatures
What the petition asks
The UK should seek to establish a new international framework in respect of Israel/Palestine, recognising Palestinian statehood, protecting human rights, ending occupation and settlements, and promoting dialogue and mutual understanding.
As the historical signatory of the Balfour Declaration, we believe the UK bears a responsibility in working towards a just and lasting resolution to the problems that have arisen in Israel and Palestine. By seeking to establish a new framework, based on international law, it is our view that the UK can pave the way for a peaceful and sustainable future, ensuring the protection of human rights and the realisation of self-determination for all parties involved.
