Free sanitary products to all women and teenagers who experience menstruation

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

I would like the Government and Parliament to make a concerted effort to remove the cost of menstruation products in England and Wales
I think it is of paramount importance that menstruation is recognised as an inevitable medical process than women and younger girls go through. It is not by choice and so why should we have to spend increasing amounts on products to assist with this process. On average a woman will spend £5000 in her lifetime for sanitary products, when other recognised medical conditions qualify for free prescriptions.
