Seek to start peace talks between Israel and Palestine to resolve the conflict

What the petition asks
Britain should seek to host and facilitate peace talks between Israel and Palestine to seek to resolve the current conflict.
Britain was able to achieve peace in a long-standing and seemingly impossible conflict in Northern Ireland. Therefore Britain has historical credibility for achieving something that many thought impossible.
Britain has also a direct historical responsibility in facilitating the setting up of Israel in Palestine in 1948, and ought to finish the job by seeking to ensure the wellbeing of all the citizens of Israel and Palestine regardless of their creed.
