Include "None of the Above" on ballots and stop losing candidates from re-entry

What the petition asks

Elections for representative have steadily become less representative and increasingly no local or regional voices are heard due to parachuting of centrally selected candidates - The introduction of "None of the Above" would allow the local people to select their representative as democracy intended

Truly representative and locally understood candidates are the backbone of a democracy and the current party candidate selection process, non proportional representation and closed lists limits not just the type of candidates we see but remove the voice, viewpoint and values of those who seek to represent us are hearing - The british public deserve to be able to say to the parties - Your chosen candidates bears no relation to me, my voice is not being heard and I want a choice from my world.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
