Ban the sale of fireworks that make a noise.

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

Ban the sale and public use of fireworks that make a noise.

Fireworks that do make a noise should only be used at an organised event.
The effect of loud and noisy fireworks on animals throughout the country causes anxiety and suffering, not only on bonfire night (4th November) but on many nights prior and after this day. Fireworks regularly come into possession of young people who then set them off repeatedly in built up areas.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

You may wish to sign this petition which calls for the same action: Ban the sale of all non-silent fireworks
