Commission a Review of Practice-based Research Evidence of Yoga
Closed
904 signatures
What the petition asks
Despite a growing body of evidence, we believe yoga is not sufficiently integrated into our healthcare system. A review of practice-based research evidence could help to develop evidence-based recommendations for the use of yoga in the NHS and other healthcare settings.
Yoga is a safe, effective, and affordable complimentary intervention. Evidence-based recommendations that encourage the prescribing of yoga could help to ensure that people have access to the benefits of yoga and may also help to reduce the burden on the NHS by providing people with effective self-management tools for a range of conditions.
