Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

A large number of XL bully’s currently live in Social housing or private landlord houses. The current housing legislation prohibits a tenant from keeping a dog deemed a banned breed type (Section 1 Dangerous Dogs Act.) and they can evict a tenant if they do not rehome their dog.
Enable tenants who are showing responsible dog ownership, to remain in their homes and register for exemption, without risk of Homelessness or Euthanasia
if a person is deemed fit and responsible to keep an XL bully, allow for the registered keeper to present their certificate to the local authority or private landlord, and maintain their tenancy if they can prove their dog has not committed a DDA section 3 offence and that they can evidence that their property is sufficiently secured.
