FFP rules in English football are anti competitive and should be scrapped

What the petition asks
I would like parliament to look into the protectionist nature of FFP and debate wether this is anti competitive. I believe it is and therefore reduces competition in on of our most respected worldwide exports.
I would like parliament to advise the FA that it’s ‘fair play’ rules are nothing of the sort and that it must allow competition to thrive.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for. Decisions about the Financial Fair Play Regulations are a matter for UEFA, not the UK Government or Parliament.
The Government has announced plans to create a new independent regulator for men's professional football, which will have powers in relation to the financial sustainability of football clubs.
