30 hours for Nannies. Nannies are getting made redundant or laid off.

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

Nannies are just as important as nurseries and childminders and very beneficial to some families for childcare. Why should only nurseries and childminders accept the funding when they have huge waiting lists. It’s not fair on nannies whom are getting laid off or made redundant or used temporarily.
Offer nannies the 30 hours funding option. Please! Childcare is making nannies having to change their careers due to the situation and the cost of living in the economy is effecting everyone and nannies are just as beneficial and some people are requiring them but can’t afford us. The waiting lists are so long on childminders and nurseries as they are the cheaper options but this is so unfair it’s disruptive to the children they’re care for and everyone. Please stop and change this. 🙏🏻
