Stop the current Covid Inquiry
Rejected

What the petition asks
The inquiry in its current format does not help to inform and learn how future public health emergencies are best dealt with.
The current inquiry is more about what people said and did at certain times rather than answering the necessary fundamental questions, such as ‘should we use lockdowns?’, ‘what is the right ethical approach by Public Health?’, ‘examine the use of NPIs’.
The time and costs of this inquiry are huge and unless we answer fundamental questions will not be helpful for the future.
