Make it illegal for retail and hospitality businesses to refuse cash as payment

What the petition asks
Some people use cash as a way of managing their spending. And many retail and hospitality businesses are now refusing to accept cash.
What is worse is when you’ve eaten in a restaurant and you were not made aware it was cashless beforehand. Cash is a legal tender and should be accepted everywhere.
It’s not in everyone’s interests to go cashless. We believe managing your spending and learning the true value of money is easier in the physical form. Some retail and hospitality businesses are not allowing people to use cash when some people want to. We believe this shouldn't be allowed.
