Make spiking an indictable offence with minimum of 3 months prison and area bans

What the petition asks
Spiking should be an indictable offence with a minimum sentence of 3 months, which increases with repeat offending. Area banning orders should also be used. This could help root out repeat offenders and keep our nightlife as safe as possible.
There are many reports on the news about individuals being spiked within the night-time economy. Making spiking an indictable offence could help deter people from doing it and increase the number of people who report it to the police.
