Petition · past parliament · Department for Transport

Allow small dogs to travel with their families in airplane cabins.

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

Change the law, to allow airlines to accept family pets on airplanes flying in and out of the UK, in line with many other countries' in Europe and the rest of the world's legislations.
It should be a choice to bring our family pets with us abroad and back, and not a restriction which means you have to leave them behind. A change in law would mean that people don't have to pay extra costs for other means of transport, and prevent the pet from any possible separation anxiety which may arise if they are not with their usual family.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
