Make parents liable for any damages caused by minor children

What the petition asks
In cases when minor children cause damage to private properties, for example due to anti-social behaviour, we want the parents of those children to be legally responsible for covering the costs of damages, such as repairs/replacements.
Too many children cause damage to other properties, and a lot of parents don't take responsibility of the behaviour of their children. If parents had to cover the costs of any damages caused by their children, this could encourage parents to take more of an interest in what their kids are doing, and the need to raise them responsibly.
