What the petition asks

Pressure Israel to abide by the UNSC resolution passed on 22.12.2023, and facilitate an efficient aid delivery process into Gaza, complete inspections within 24 hours, open more checkpoints, allow medical/hygiene kits, tents, food, solar panels in.
Hold israel accountable if restrictions continue
The UK and Israel are trade partners, it can wield some influence over this matter.

Every state has a duty under international law to preserve human life. The UK prides itself as a bastion of democracy & human rights, this is an opportunity to demonstrate it to the world.

Persuading the Israeli government to create safe, unhindered & sustained Humanitarian passages will save lives, & sway public perception more favourably towards the UK, when many have become disgruntled at UK foreign policy.
