Decriminalise abortion to protect rights of women and girls to access healthcare

What the petition asks
Remove the Abortion Act 1967 to make all abortion safely accessible to all women and girls.
At an extremely vulnerable time, women are facing the repercussions of an old, oppressive law which seeks to restrict necessary healthcare for women who do not wish to be pregnant.
By placing restrictions on women seeking abortions the law causes some women to carry out unsafe abortions at home. This can lead to a number of health complications for which they may be scared to seek attention for, for fear of prosecution.
Our law requires reform to reflect that of other modern nations, i.e. Canada.
