Make all publicly accessible baby change facilities accessible for Men & Women

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

I would like the government to issue guidance to all publicly accessible spaces to make baby changing facilities accessible for both men and women.
I would also like building regulations to be updated to state all new buildings in this category to have this provision built in for both sexes.
I recently became a father and love to be as involved as I can, but when out alone there are numerous shops, centres, leisure facilities and countless other venues that have baby change facilities but inside the women’s toilets.
This alienates fathers, makes it more difficult to be out and about and in this day and age where we have discussions around extra billions for HS2 but I can’t even change my son when we’re out without finding a different shop somewhere or in the back of the car!
