Ban all MPs from having second jobs

What the petition asks
We propose that the Government enact a prohibition on members of Parliament engaging in any secondary employment, encompassing directorships, consulting or advisory roles, and similar positions.
Members of the UK Parliament should prioritize their role as public servants, focusing on legislative responsibilities and constituent concerns. Holding second jobs can create conflicts of interest, divert attention from constituents, and undermine public trust. Dedication to public service is crucial for effective governance, and we believe limiting outside employment will help to maintain the integrity and accountability of elected representatives.
