Ban microplastic glitter
Closed
50 signatures
What the petition asks
Extend the ban on products containing microplastics to cover plastic glitter products, including those which are sold to be sprinkled on artworks at schools, and in face paints.
Whilst the current ban tackles rinse-off products, it does not cover products that are stuck on to paper, or scattered as part of decorations. Extending the ban to cover glitter could significantly reduce microplastic in our waterways and reduce impacts on wildlife.
