Prohibit latex gloves

What the petition asks
To ban the use latex gloves in favour of alternatives such as nitrile/vinyl gloves. This can help create an environment where people feel safe and confident that they will not face a potentially life-threatening allergic reaction.
The Government’s Health & Safety Executive says between 1-6 percent of the general population is thought to be potentially sensitised to latex. That means it is likely to affect millions of people in the UK. Many people carry 2 EpiPens with them at all times, their life is constantly impacted by this allergy, whether it's eating out, going on holiday or visiting public places. Despite taking all necessary precautions, the danger persists. It often takes a significant event to happen for changes to be made, lets make the change now.
