Change of faith since arriving in UK not to be considered on asylum claims

What the petition asks
As a multi faith country, we think it should not be a consideration when an asylum seeker alters their religious status.
We believe changes of faith can clearly leave the immigration system & process wide open to abuse.
By asylum seekers converting faiths, e.g to Christianity, this could render them or their families vulnerable to persecution in their country of origin. Thus inhibiting their return should asylum be denied.
