Increase funding to support the wellbeing and mental health of veterans

What the petition asks
We would like there to be more funding dedicated towards the provision of military mental health professionals and accessible places for veterans to be able to go after having witnessed trauma and/or been injured whilst serving in the armed forces.
Many veterans are living with the consequences of war physically and mentally, sometimes without any support other than charities. After having served for their country, many ex-soldiers experience homelessness, incarceration, substance addiction and PTSD. The suffering that they and their families endure can be immense.
