Consider making summer holidays back to 6 weeks

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Consider making the summer holidays 6 weeks because there have been rumours that they have been potentially changed to 4 weeks, and we all need that rest because school is draining us, and if we don’t have that rest, it could lead to various different tragedies.
Consider making the summer holidays 6 weeks because there have been rumours that they have been potentially changed to 4 weeks, and we all need that rest because school is draining us, and if we don’t have that rest, it could lead to various different tragedies, such as suicide, mental health issues, depression etc. You may not think it would go that far, but being a school student in this generation is a lot harder than before.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

The Government has not announced any plans to reduce the length of school summer holidays in England, so we're not sure what you want the Government or Parliament to do.
