What the petition asks
Remove BSL from the dangerous dog act
killing dogs for looks is wrong there are multiple cross breed dogs that are seized that have never put a paw wrong and PTS for looks alone
Many dogs in 2024 share characteristics of many other breeds that does not make them automatically dangerous

Remove BSL from the Dangerous Dog Act multiple cross breed dogs are being punished, PTS because of looks or held for months at high costs to local police forces in private costly kennels until a owner gets court date to prove dog is not a danger.
Numerous animal charities are in agreement that this is wrong and a cruel part of the dangerous dog act BSL is not fit for purpose in 2024 and should be abolished so innocent look alike dogs don't lose their family and life
