What the petition asks
Stop the fines for parents taking their children an holidays . Unfortunately not all parents can get time off during school holidays.
The fines for parents has created an extremely bad relationship between parents and schools and this has a negative knock on effect. To hear the fines are increasing you will have more parents taking their children out of school schools for homeschooling . Rather than spending time finding people/ parents why dont the government spend more time supporting them. Everyone deserves a holiday for their own mental health and wellbeing and unfortunately if you work you don’t get 13 weeks off per year and can only have time of when suits the business.
